The Adelaide Hip & Knee Centre is South Australia’s only orthopaedic group solely dedicated to the management of disorders of the hip and knee. The centre evolved from the previously well respected and established group Adelaide Orthopaedics & Trauma Specialists.
Hip and knee surgery is undergoing a constant increase in complexity with ever emerging technology. Our surgeons believe that total dedication to this area allows us to provide our patients with a high level of care, utilising the latest evidence-based medicine and most up to date techniques and technologies.
All of our surgeons are highly experienced and have undergone post-fellowship training, both nationally and internationally, to ensure that the care they provide is of the highest standard.
The Adelaide Hip & Knee Centre is located at the Burnside War Memorial Hospital in Toorak Gardens, with easy access to public transport and onsite parking. Our surgeons also consult at multiple sites throughout South Australia and the Northern Territory.

The Adelaide Hip & Knee Centre compromises of Dr Robert Baird, Dr Robert Fassina, Dr Justin Munt and Dr Andrew Morris. All four Orthopaedic specialists have extensive training in Orthopaedic surgery gained in Australia and overseas.
We provide a valuable service that enables your General Practitioner and Emergency Physician to contact a surgeon directly, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. The aim is to allow the transfer of urgent cases at short notice for private Orthopaedic care. GP’s and Emergency Physician’s can contact our surgeons directly for advice or to urgently refer a patient by calling 1800 DR BONE (1800 372 663).
We offer a personalised service from the first phone call to book an appointment with one of our helpful Personal Assistants to our on site Physiotherapist team.

Adelaide Hip & Knee Centre is delighted to announce Leading Edge Physiotherapy is now consulting in our rooms within the Burnside Specialist Centre, 120 Kensington Road, Toorak Gardens.
Leading Edge Physiotherapy have a special interest in the provision of high-quality physiotherapy for all parts of your body, including the management of lower limb injuries which will compliment the work done in the Adelaide Hip & Knee Centre.
We are pleased Leading Edge has joined our team to provide our patients a total package of care, including rehabilitation.
